In recent months KPN (with KPN Play) and T-Mobile (with KNIPPR) have withdrawn from the market for live TV via the Internet, but Canal Digitaal does not stop that. The satellite provider now also comes with subscriptions where users can watch live TV channels via the browser and apps for iOS and Android.

Canal Digitaal introduces two over-the-top subscriptions; with the Vol subscription subscribers receive access to 45 channels for € 9.95 per month, Bomvol gives you access to 62 channels, including Fox Sports Eredivisie, for a price of € 14.95 per month. For both subscriptions, the TV channels can only be viewed via the website or via an Android or iOS app for your smartphone or tablet.

Thanks to support for Google Cast and Apple Airplay, making it easy to watch live TV to stream channels to your TV, a connected HDMI stick or Apple TV. Users can watch programs for up to seven days, via both the apps and the website, and you can watch live TV broadcasts on up to four devices at the same time. The new over-the-top subscriptions can be taken out immediately via the website of Canal Digitaal.
