Nvidia has prepared a fresh update for the Nvidia Shield with Android TV, which includes the 120Hz mode. Players of the game Fortnite, the most popular game of the moment, can also count on support for voice chat.

120Hz mode for Nvidia Shield TV

Tuesday brings Nvidia the twentieth update for the Nvidia Shield with Android TV. Shield Software Experience Upgrade 7.1 is now being rolled out to everyone worldwide and adds the voice chat feature for the Fortnite game. All you have to do is use a headset with a microphone. You plug the cable into the aux port of the controller and you can immediately start chatting. There is now better support for keyboard and mouse when you use GeForce Now.

Nvidia also uses the opportunity to announce that games like Monster Hunter World, F1 2018 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider go to GeForce Now come. GeForce Now is the game streaming service of the company. Furthermore, a new Shield app is available with a virtual keyboard and mouse for easier text input and a quick settings menu is available with the options power, restart and sleep.
